The building is placed in the Bairro Novo in Figueira da Foz. It is a collective housing for 70 families.

 

The building is formed by the context that surrounds it: two narrow streets with small buildings, a market and a park. Because of this, the building will open to the two small streets, creating wide spaces for the comfort of the users.

 

Two squares will be created: a private one for the housing residents and a public one for the people who are headed to the market and the maritime area, having a dotacional area made by comerce related to maritime and fishing activities.

 

The houses are placed a way so the sunlight is optimal for each one of them.

 

The building is pierced by holes that let the air pass and work as corridors and living areas.
